In my work as a brain researcher, I’ve spent years studying the most sophisticated computer ever created: the human brain. But today, we are at a crossroads where biological evolution meets machine intelligence. As we celebrate International Women’s Week, I want to talk about how we move from simply "using" technology to mastering it - elevating our potential in the process.
The 99% Blind Spot
Here is a reality check: 99% of business data is currently dark. It is neither analyzed nor used by AI. It is potential hidden in plain sight.
Why have we left this on the table? Because of our biological limitations. For a company to manually "mine" this data for the jewels of insight that drive value, they would need an impossible army of staff. Until now, our ability to scale intelligence was capped by the number of hours a human can stay focused.
AI changes the math. It allows us to do what was previously biologically impossible: processing billions of documents with total consistency. While human performance is a wave - influenced by stress, fatigue, and external factors - AI is a constant. It doesn’t get tired; it just executes.
