Sean Murray is a senior engineering leader and program manager with deep expertise in developing and deploying advanced technical solutions. As an Engineering Technical Program Manager at Luminar Technologies, he led thecomplex project to design and build the company's long-range LiDAR test facility. He also managed the cross-functional R&D of a new LiDAR platform, coordinating across mechanical, optical, and electrical engineering teams.
This high-tech experience was built on a distinguished career at Walt Disney World, where he served as a Senior Project Engineer and Design Chief. He led the initial rollout, implementation, and scaling of various attractions such as: LiDAR-based project for the Dinosaur attraction, Redesigned and installed Spaceship Earth, and Developed computer enclosure for the Monorail Control System.
His foundational experience includes precision engineering design for Honda Motor Company, Ford Motor Company, and General Motors and distinguished service as an aerospace ground equipment mechanic in the U.S. Air Force.
